Terms of Service
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the DivorceLele website and application. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. NOT A LAW FIRM; NO ATTORNEY-CLIENT RELATIONSHIP
DivorceLele is a technology platform, not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice, legal opinions, or legal representation. The Service, including all AI-generated content, guides, timelines, and document formatting, is for educational and preparatory purposes only.
Using DivorceLele does not create an attorney-client relationship. You are strictly advised to consult with a registered advocate licensed by the Bar Council of India before submitting any documents to a court of law or making binding legal decisions.
2. Artificial Intelligence Limitations (Hallucinations)
Our Service utilizes advanced generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) to process documents, translate texts, and draft responses. While we strive for high accuracy, AI models are probabilistic and can generate incorrect, outdated, or fabricated information ("hallucinations").
User Obligation: You are solely responsible for independently verifying all factual claims, legal citations, and outputs generated by the Service. DivorceLele accepts zero liability for cases lost, documents rejected by courts, or adverse legal outcomes resulting from reliance on AI-generated text.
3. Service Disruptions and Data Loss
We provide the Service on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or entirely secure.
In the context of litigation, court deadlines are strict. We strongly advise you to download and independently back up all generated files, annexures, and affidavits well in advance of your court dates. DivorceLele is not liable for missed court deadlines, penalties, or lost legal standing caused by scheduled maintenance, unscheduled downtime, server outages, or accidental data loss.
4. User Content and Conduct
You represent and warrant that you own or have the legal right to upload the documents, chat logs, and financial records you provide to the Service. You agree not to use the Service to:
- Fabricate, forge, or tamper with digital evidence (including Section 63 BSA logs) with the intent to mislead a court.
- Upload classified government documents or data illegally obtained through unauthorized surveillance of a spouse.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code or AI prompts of the Service.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, in no event shall DivorceLele, its directors, employees, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or legal standing, resulting from (a) your use or inability to use the service; (b) any conduct or content of any third party; or (c) any errors in the AI output. In no event will our aggregate liability exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
6. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DivorceLele and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from your use and access of the Service, or any breach of these Terms.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
